Thermal bremsstrahlung spectrum

What you are seeing: bremsstrahlung (free-free) emissivity of a thermal plasma at temperature TT. The spectrum is flat at low frequencies (modulo ln⁡\ln Gaunt factor) and cuts off exponentially at hν∼kTh\nu \sim k T.
