Black Hole SHOWCASE

What you are seeing: a Schwarzschild and Kerr black hole rendered through ten modes (Overview, Photons, Lensing, Shadow, Frame drag, Spacetime, Ringdown, Hawking radiation, TDE flare, Tidal). The lensed accretion disk is a backward ray-march in the Schwarzschild metric with first-order Kerr correction. Drag the canvas to orbit; scroll to zoom

Figure 1. Black Hole, ten-mode laboratory. Schwarzschild plus first-order Kerr backward ray-march for the lensed disk; closed-form Bardeen- ISCO and ergosphere; Berti- QNM table; point-mass lensing; radiation; TDE lightcurve.

WHAT TO TRY

  • Step through the ten modes: from the lensed accretion disk and EHT-style photon ring to frame dragging, the Flamm embedding, ringdown bell and Hawking radiation, each is a different face of the same black hole.
  • Raise the spin chi toward 1: the ergosphere swells, the ISCO moves inward, and frame dragging whirls spacetime around, the Kerr features absent from a static hole.
  • Switch to Shadow mode: the photon ring sets the dark shadow size, the very quantity the Event Horizon Telescope measured for M87 and Sgr A*.
